A) the SABS safety mark
B) the SABS performance mark
C) a Regulatory Compliance Certificate (RCC)
D) Authorization Certificate
E) Special exemption by Chief Inspector
SABS Safety and Performance Marks
The SABS and Performance marks show that the product meets the requirements of the Wiring Code. Applying these marks to a product is a voluntry decision by the manufacturer and indicates that the products are subject to testing and manufacturing process review during the time that a valid permit to apply the SABS Mark is held.
RCC
RCC is a Regulator's Compliance Certificate which is issued when compliance against the relevant standards in the Wiring Code (SANS 10142-1) is met.
