Installation Instructions
Turn off mains power before installation
Insert the remote sensor into the switch plate cut-out
Plug the sensor cable into the dimmers sensor terminal.
Connect the mains LIVE wire to the LIVE TERMINAL of the dimmer.
Connect the LOAD wire from the light to the LOAD TERMINAL of the dimmer.
Touch Operation
Place your finger on the TOUCH SENSOR, the light level will adjust up or down.
Release the Touch Sensor, the light will stop at the desired light level and save this level to memory
QUICK touch - When the light is off: Light will automatically brighten to the saved memory level.
Remote Programming (Works with most HiFi/TV/DSTV/Video Infra-red remote controls)
Choose any two buttons (e.g. unused) on your remote to function as dim-up and dim-down.
Point the remote at the Remote Sensor.
Touch and hold the Touch sensor (without covering the Remote Sensor with your finger.)
While the light is brightening press and release the chosen dim-up button.
The light will stop and then down to show that the remote button has been learned.
Repeat this operation, with the light dimming down, to program the remote dim-off button.
Remote Operation (Please first program your remote as per Remote Programming instructions)
To brighten light: Press and release the programmed remote button and the light will brighten,
pressing the button again will stop the light at the desired brightness.
To dim light: Press and release the programmed remote button and the light will dim.
NOTE: The remote buttons will reverse their operation if the light is at full brightness. |
